Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET) functions as an autonomous scientific society under Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India. Besides augmenting core competence, C-MET envisions attainment of self-sufficiency in the sphere of Electronic materials, components and devices to cater to India’s strategic and industrial applications, exploiting indigenous resources of raw materials. C-MET can provide expert advice and troubleshooting service to the industry for various day-to-day problems, yield improvement and data interpretation.C-MET carries research and development on electronic materials and their processing keeping in view the development in the electronic and IT industry all over the world. Many of these programmes are for advanced electronic materials and processes with partial funding coming from various national and international funding agencies.
Description
C-MET invites applications for Research Scientists on purely temporary & contractual basis for a period of 3 years for Pune laboratory. The appointment may be extended/curtailed depending upon the status/duration of the project. However, the appointment will be initially for one year & extendable on the basis of annual performance review.

Eligibility
Research Scientist – Ph.D. in Physics/ Chemistry/ Material Sciences/ Nano Science/ Nano materials/ Material Sciences Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Metallurgy from a recognized University/ Research Institution.
Experience: Ph.D. with minimum one year post- qualification experience in the relevant field in R & D Laboratory / Universities in India/ Abroad. Relaxation in the experience may be given with approval of competent authority.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Research Scientist – Rs. 90,000/- Per Month
