School of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Science is engaged in important coastal ocean activities in the areas relevant to Navy.
The school is looking for prospective candidates for filling up position of field assistant in R&D projects funded by Naval Research Board, New Delhi, under the guidance of Prof. Harilal B. Menon. The position is purely temporary for an ongoing project for the period 2019-2022.

Details of NRB project Title
Analysis of optical properties of coastal and estuarine waters and development of algorithm to retrieve chromophoric dissolved organic matter from an optical sensor.
Eligibility
Essential Qualifications
BSc degree in Physics/Mathematics subject and have experience in generating oceanographic data from the field.
Skills required
Knowledge of using various software for statistical analysis and to prepare graphs and maps.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Field assistant: FA (1 post) – Rs: 10000/- (consolidated)
