NIT Puducherry was sanctioned by the Government of India in 2009, as part of the Eleventh Five-Year Plan (2007–2012). Event Introduction
Footprints of power electronics play a crucial role in management of conventional energy systems as well as smart/renewable energy systems such as solar, wind, fuel cell etc. Power electronics holds a major task for power extraction from the sources, transfer of power and its management among the load. The STTP will give lucid ideas and widespread knowledge on the role of power electronics devices such as converters, inverters and other equipment with their working on building smart energy systems and their futuristics scope. Experts speakers with their rational research experience in power electronics fields will incite the participants towards recent research and developments in smart energy systems.
