The Department of Social Sciences and Humanities at IIIT Delhi is looking for two Part-Time Teaching Fellows to support their academic programs. The positions are designed to assist in teaching, conducting tutorials, and providing additional academic support to students. The roles involve working closely with course faculty to enhance the learning experience for students in the fields of Sociology and Quantitative Methods/Psychometry.
Position
- Teaching Fellow in Sociology – Part-Time
- Teaching Fellow in Quantitative Methods/Psychometry – Part-Time
Eligibility
Teaching Fellow in Sociology: A Master’s degree (First Class) in Sociology, Anthropology, Gender Studies, Human Geography, Development Studies, Political Science, Media Studies, or a related social science discipline. Strong academic performance in research methods courses.
Demonstrated knowledge of qualitative research methodologies, including:
● Ethnography | Action Research Case Study.
● Observation| Interviews| Focus Group Discussions.
Narrative and discourse analysis Thematic analysis.
Teaching Fellow in Quantitative Methods/Psychometry: A Master’s degree (first class) in Psychology, Psychometry/ Statistics, Public Health, or a related discipline. Demonstrated expertise in quantitative research methods or psychometrics, evidenced through academic coursework, research, or professional work.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 27,500/- for full time
- Rs. 13750/- for Part Time
