The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, (DIAT) as it is known today, came into being as the Institute of Armament Studies in 1952 in the CME campus. In 1967, the Institute was renamed as “Institute of Armament Technology, (IAT)”, which moved to its present location at Girinagar, Pune. From the relatively narrow scope of Armament Studies alone in the Fifties, the role of the Institute was considerably enlarged by the Defence R&D Council in 1964 and further in 1981.

Description

A ‘Walk-in-Interview / Selection Meeting’ will be held at 1400hrs on 06 Jun 2022 (Monday) at this Institute for selection of a suitable candidate for the contractual engagements to the following position to work at Health Centre, Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (Deemed to be University), Girinagar, Pune-411025. The eligibility conditions for the said contractual appointment are given below

Position

• Part-Time Medical Officer (On contract)

Eligibility

(i) Essential: MBBS Degree
(ii) Preferable : Experience in any of the Govt./Civil/ hospital on regular/ permanent basis. Age not exceeding 50 years on the date of walk-in interview

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Part-Time Medical Officer (On contract) Around 35,000/- (consolidated) per month (decided on the basis of experience, merit & suitability).
