CDFD also receives funding from other agencies on specific collaborative projects. In addition, DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics services provided by the Centre support some of its activities.
Description
Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics CDFD, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology invites applications from Indian nationals for the following purely temporary vacancy in the project titled “Genomic Surveillance for SARS-CoV-2 in India:

Eligibility
Essential qualifications and Experience:
☛ M.Sc
☛ Minimum 2 years research experience in Life Sciences after M Sc
Desirable Qualifications:
☛ Experience in RNA Extraction, Real Time PCR
☛ Experience of working in Molecular Biology Laboratory
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- + HRA
