The main objective of setting up of this specialized institute was to develop manpower in different disciplines of Plastics Engineering & Technology as no similar institute was in existence in the country. International Labour Organization (ILO) served as the executing agency.

Minimum Qualifications:
Full time graduate in any discipline with four years experience in the relevant area
OR
MBA (HRM/PM) with 2 years Experience in the relevant area
Consultant Trainee (Mobilization)
Minimum Qualifications:
Full time Diploma (Mech/Prod/industrial/Chemical/EEE)/ DPT/DPMT/PGD-PPT
Or
Full time B.Sc. in the relevant branch with First class
Experience: 1 – 2 years Experience
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Placement Consultant Rs. 40,000/- p.m.
- Consultant Trainee (Mobilization) Rs. 20,000/- to 30,000/- p.m.
