Description

The Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (Cense) at IISc Bengaluru is renowned for its cutting-edge research and industry collaborations in semiconductor technology and nanoscience’s. Established in 2010, Cense has been at the forefront of fostering industry-academia partnerships through its Industry Interface at Cense (I2CeNSE) and the in-house deep-tech incubator, Incense. The CEO and COO positions are full-time, contractual roles based in Bengaluru, offering the opportunity to lead strategic initiatives and manage high-impact projects.

Position

• Chief Executive Officer (CEO) 
• Chief Operating Officer (COO)  

Eligibility

• Chief Executive Officer (CEO): 1. BTech/BE in Engineering (4Y) or M.Sc. (2Y) in science or equivalent is required. An advanced degree in engineering or an MBA is preferable. 2. More than 5 years of work experience in industry-industry, industry-government or industry-academia interfacing.
• Chief Operating Officer (COO): BTech/BE in Engineering (4Y) or M.Sc. (2Y) in science or equivalent is required. An advanced degree in engineering or an MBA is preferable. More than 5 years of work experience in industry-industry, industry-government or industry-academia interfacing.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Chief Executive Officer (CEO): Negotiable, but up to ₹5 lakhs/month through a combination of base salary and performance-based incentives.
• Chief Operating Officer (COO): Negotiable, but up to ₹3 lakhs/month through a combination of base salary and performance-based incentives.
