Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. It manufactures state-of-the-art electronic products and systems for the Army, Navy and the Air Force. BEL has also diversified into various areas like homeland security solutions, smart cities, e-governance solutions, space electronics including satellite integration, energy storage products including e-vehicle charging stations, solar, network & cyber security, railways & metro solutions, airport solutions, Electronic Voting Machines, telecom products, passive night vision devices, medical electronics, composites and software solutions.

Job Description

Bharat Electronics Limited a Navaratna Company and India‟s premier professional electronics Company under the Ministry of Defence, requires the following personnel on temporary basis for its Missile Systems SBU, Bengaluru as mentioned below:

Period of contract:
Project Engineer- I: Initially for a period of Three (3) Years from the date of joining. However, the same may be extended upto a maximum of One more year (Maximum tenure of 4 years including the initial period) depending on the progress of the project and performance of the candidate.
However, if any candidate has completed three years of tenure as a Trainee Engineer in BEL and applied and selected for Project Engineer post he/she will be directly inducted as Project Engineer –II. The overall tenure will be limited to 3 years only. The remuneration of such candidates will be Rs.45.000/- for the 1st year, Rs. 50,000 for 2nd year and Rs.55,000/- for the 3rd year.

Eligibility

Project Engineer

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
Aggregate of all semesters/years – 55% and above for General, OBC (NCL) & EWS Candidates and Pass Class for SC/ST/PwBD (Person with Benchmark Disabilities) BE / B. Tech in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication/ Telecommunication /Communication/Mechanical/Chemical from AICTE/UGC approved recognized institute/University/College.

JOB REQUIREMENT/EXPERIENCE

Electronics: 1.Knowledge on Navigation, GPS/IRNSS/ Communications / MATLAB / FPGA Software & Control systems is desirable. 2.Candidates should possess good communication skills and should be willing to travel to customer and vendor/customer locations.
Mechanical: 1.Knowledge on CAD (3D Modelling using Solid Works, Drafting and likewise). 2.Knowledge on design and Mechanical elements / systems. 3.Knowledge on CAE (Static & Dynamic Simulations using Software Packages like Ansys, Altair and likewise). 4.Knowledge on Conventional and Advanced Manufacturing processes
5.Knowledge on ERP system (i.e. SAP) will be desirable. 6.Candidates should possess good communication skills and should be willing to travel to customer and vendor/customer locations.

Chemical: 1.Knowledge on Safety and handling of explosives is desirable. 2.Knowledge on processing of explosives, High Explosive Filling, Propellant filling is desirable. 3.Candidates should possess good communication skills and should be willing to travel to customer and vendor/customer locations.
Candidates who have experience in the area of Arms and Ammunition, handling of explosives will be highly preferred. Experience – Minimum 2 years.
Candidates should have minimum of 2 years of relevant post qualification industry experience.

Remuneration

An all-inclusive consolidated remuneration of Rs. 40,000/- per month for the 1st Year of engagement, Rs. 45,000/- per month for the 2nd year, Rs. 50, 000/- per month for the 3rd year and Rs. 55, 000/- per month for the 4th year respectively.
