The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Agartala, is a technology-oriented institute of higher education established by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India in Agartala. It was founded as Tripura Engineering College in 1965 and declared a NIT in 2006. It is a technical institute in India along with all other NITs and IITs. It is recognized as an Institute of National Importance, by an act of the Parliament of India. It is a leading reputed technical institute of the country along with the IITs and NITs. NIT, Agartala is one of the thirty one national-level Technical Institutes set up by the Government of India. Recruitment of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the research project funded by Science and Engineering Research Board, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. Applications are invited for the post of JRF under the sponsored research project. The details of the project and the post for recruitment are given below : Title of the Project : Hierarchical Electrodes: Advanced Design Strategies and Engineering for Na-ion Battery. Eligibility
Essential Qualification : B.Tech/M.Tech preferably in Chemical Engineering /Electrical engineering /Material Science Engineering/ any other relevant branch/ Master’s in basic science Scholars qualified CSIR-UGC NET / GATE. Qualifications fixed as per the SERB office memorandum no: SB/S9/Z-06/2019. Description of responsibilities : Working on photolithography /electrospinning techniques and development of Anode Materials for Na-ion battery. Visiting other institutes for project purpose.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
31,000/- INR plus HRA as per applicable rules for GATE/NET qualified candidates
