Banaras Hindu University invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the ANRF-ARG funded project. The research project is titled “Laser driven surface nanopatterning and modulation of the wettability of plasmonic substrates for SERS based detection of vital nutrients and health markers.” The project is led by Principal Investigator Dr. Archana Tiwari from the Department of Physics and is funded by SERB.

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Eligibility

Candidates must have an M.Sc. in Physics with at least 55% marks and must be NET/GATE qualified. The upper age limit is 28 years, with a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/Physically challenged/Female candidates. Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in the field of the project and its applications.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • ₹31,000 per month for the first two years
  • ₹42,000 per month for the third year
  • HRA as per rules
