The Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) in Nagpur is inviting applications for the position of Project Research Scientist I (Non-Medical) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. This role is part of an ICMR-funded research project focusing on the application of image processing and machine learning in medical imaging.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold a first-class M.Tech/M.E/MS degree or a first-class B.Tech/B.E. degree, or a first-class integrated M.Tech/M.E in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Biomedical, AI, or related fields. Candidates awaiting results can apply but must submit final results upon joining. Expertise in image processing, computer vision, and proficiency in machine learning/deep learning models is desired.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Details of Emoluments: Rs. 56,000/- + 20% HRA (Rs.11,200/-) = Rs. 67,200/-(With 5% annual increment in 3rd year of project)
