National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli (NIT Tiruchirappalli or NIT Trichy) is a national research university near the city of Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded as Regional Engineering College Tiruchirappalli in 1964 by the Governments of India and Tamil Nadu under the affiliation of the University of Madras. The college was granted Deemed University status in 2003 with the approval of the University Grants Commission, All India Council for Technical Education and Government of India and renamed as National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli. National Institute of Technology Trichy is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology established by the Government of India. • Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Eligibility

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)-01:
   Essential Requirements: B. E/ B. Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering with First Class from a
   recognized University/ Institute and M. E/ M. Tech/ M.S. in VLSI Design / Embedded Systems / Microprocessors
   any other specialization in ECE related to VLSI. Knowledge and experience in VLSI Tools will be an added
   advantage.
2. Laboratory Engineer-01
   Essential Requirements: B. E/ B. Tech in ECE/EEE/ICE with First Class from a recognized University/ Institute
   Desirable: Minimum 1 year experience with the relevant field of VLSI/ASIC and having strong understanding on
   front-end/back-end developments in FPGA/ASIC projects, RTL, verification and physical design.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

Emoluments: Rs.35,960/- per month (consolidated) for the first 2 years and Rs.40,600/- per month (consolidated) for remaining three years for JRF. Rs.25,000/- per month (consolidated) for the first 2 years and Rs.30,000/- per month (consolidated) for remaining three years for the Lab Engineer
