The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), established by an Act of Parliament in 1985, has continuously striven to build an inclusive knowledge society through inclusive education. IGNOU intends to engage a Consultant (Academic) in Centre for Freedom Struggle & Diaspora Studies (CFSDS), purely on contract basis for temporary requirement. The contract would be for a period of six (06) months initially, extendable on six monthly basis upto a maximum period of two (02) years depending upon requirement and performance of the candidate

Eligibility
- Master degree in (i) Modern Indian History, or (ii) Hindi, or (iii) Geography with a minimum of 55% marks (for General Category) and 50% marks (for Reserved Category).
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Remuneration : Rs.40,000 – Rs.60,000
