Cochin University of Science and Technology Applications in the prescribed format are invited from qualified candidates for appointment to the post of Instructor cum Caretaker (on contract) in the Department of Physical Education as detailed below:

Eligibility

Position: Instructor cum Caretaker

Pass in X Standard

Minimum of two years experience as Instructor in Gymnasium.

Experience under organizations like Sports Association Health club as fitness trainer/Assistant Trainer, Kerala State Sports Council Health Centres, Universities/Colleges Health Clubs/Gymnasiums etc. will be given preference.

Desirable: A Know how on the maintenance of the Gymnasium
equipment, preferably their electrical repair.

The initial period of appointment is for one year which may be extended to two years. The University reserves the right to shortlist the candidates on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying degree.The appointment, conditions of service, emoluments and other service benefits shall be governed by the provisions of KSR, KS&SSR, Act/Statutes/Ordinances and Syndicate Decisions of Cochin Universityof Science and Technology as amended from time to time. Candidates who have worked for four years or more on contract appointment in the University will be considered for appointment only in the absence of qualified hands who have not completed four years of appointment on contract basis.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Monthly Salary ₹ 24,520/-
