National Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh is the 31st institution among the chain of NITs started by the Government of India. NIT Andhra Pradesh is established in the state of Andhra Pradesh recently in the academic year 2015 – 2016. Currently the Institute is offering B.Tech., M.Tech., Ph.D. and MS programmes.

Job Description

Applications are invited from the interested candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the R&D project under Department of Science and Technology (DST) – Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Empowerment and Equity Opportunities for Excellence in Science (EMEQ) scheme, Govt. of India, sponsored project bearing the sanction number EEQ/2022/001043 undertaken in the Department of Electrical Engineering, NIT Andhra Pradesh.

Position

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 01 Post

Eligibility

B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering and M.E/M.Tech. in relevant specializations of Electrical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marks (or a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on a 10 point scale) and with a GATE/NET Qualified.
Desirable Qualifications : Analytical and experimental activities during M.E/M.Tech. for the development of power electronics based system with concluding understanding, knowledge and experience with technical software/tools (MATLAB/SIMULINK, PSIM, SNSYS, etc.) for simulation studies and dSPACE/FPGA/Micro/DSP controllers for the implementation of control techniques. Candidate is expected to join immediately.

Remuneration

• Rs. 31,000/- pm (for the first 2 years) and Rs. 35,000/- pm (for the 3rd year) plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per the Institute rules
