The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) is a deemed university fully funded by the University Grants Commission, Government of India. Sukoon is a field action project of the School of Human Ecology at the Tata Institute ofSocial Sciences, Mumbai. Sukoon provides psycho-social services to litigants approaching courtsettings for matrimonial disputes and conducts primary research in the area of couple and family well-being. Sukoon counseling centers are currently operational in 6 courts in Mumbai.

Qualifications
☛ Minimum qualification is postgraduate degree in psychology/ medical and psychiatric social work, social work in mental health
☛ M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work, Clinical Psychology or PG Dip in
Counselling would be preferred
☛ Minimum 1-2 years of experience of direct counselling, case work
interventions with individuals and families
☛ Candidates with counselling experience of working with young people in school/college settings would be preferred
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Counsellor at the Counselling Center Remuneration – minimum Rs. 40,000/- (negotiable based on experience)
