The Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC) is an All India Institute for Interdisciplinary Research and Training in the Social Sciences, established in 1972 by the late Professor V K R V Rao. It is registered as a Society under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960, to create a blend of field-oriented empirical research and advances in social science theories leading to better public policy formulation.

Institute for Social and Economic Change Applications are invited for the posts of Research Fellow and Data Assistant on contractual basis at Population Research Centre (PRC), ISEC.

Eligibility
Research Fellow
At least 2nd Class Post Graduate degree in Demography/ Population Studies/ Statistics / Economics/ Mathematics/ Sociology/Public Health from a recognized Institution/ University.
Four years of experience post qualification (i.e. after Post
Graduation). Ph.D. relaxable in deserving cases
Data Assistant At least 2nd Class Graduate degree with Statistics / Economics /Mathematics Data handing using latest Statistical Packages
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Research Fellow Rs.28,000/-PM (Consolidated)
- Data Assistant Rs.19,352/-PM (Consolidated)
