The college was established in 1963 with the name as Malaviya Regional Engineering College, Jaipur as a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan, Subsequently; on June 26, 2002 the college has been given the status of National Institute of Technology and on 15 August 2007, Proclaimed Institute of National Importance through Act of Parliament. The Institute is fully funded by Ministry of Education (Shiksha Mantralaya), Government of India. More than 12,000 students have already been graduated since its establishment.

Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow (1 No.) to work in a research project titled ” “The coating of CuNiFeCrMo Graphene oxide Nanocomposites on CFRP – Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics / Composites to improve Thermal Conductivity & Electrical Conductivity properties of CFRP – Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic / Composites” sponsored by ISRO under the supervision of Prof. Upender Pandel, Department of Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, MNIT Jaipur, Rajasthan. The position is purely temporary and meant for 36 (Thirty Six) months or the end of the project whichever is earlier and co-terminus with the tenure of the project. Eligibility

1. B.E./B.Tech. degree in Metallurgical Engineering/ Materials Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Materials Science and Engineering/ Metallurgical and Materials Engineering/Chemical Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering/ Materials Science/Polymer Science and Engineering/ Nano Technology with CGPA not below 6.5.
2. M.E/M.Tech in Metallurgical and Materials Engg/ Metallurgical Engg/Materials Engg/Chemical Engg /Mechanical Engg./ Manufacturing Engineering in MHRD, UGC or AICTE affiliated institutes.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Junior Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow Fellowship: Rs 31,000/- + HRA per month
