National Institute of Technology Delhi (NITD) is one of the thirty NIT (s) established in the year 2010 by an act of parliament and has been declared as an Institute of National importance.NIT Delhi is an autonomous Institute which functions under the aegis of Ministry of Education, Government of India. It aims to provide instructions and research facilities in various disciplines of Engineering, Science and Technology, Management, Social Sciences and Humanities for advance learning and dissemination of knowledge. NIT Delhi has started its academic session in 2010 with three undergraduate B.Tech degree programmes in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Applications are invited from highly motivated and eligible students for 01 (one) Intern position in the following DST-SERB funded sponsored research project:
Project Title: Investigations on surface plasmon resonance (SPR) based optical sensing with an emphasis on the role of spin waves and magnonics in related materials

Eligibility: Students of Undergraduate (Engineering) programme in their 3rd or 4th years OR students of Postgraduate (Sciences) programme in their 2nd year.
Desirable Skills & Experience: Knowledge/practical experience in Fiber optics/Physics/Material Science/Plasmonics/Nanophotonics/Optics/Magnonics/relevant topic and/or working knowledge of Numerical simulation techniques/Computer programming/Machine Learning.
Tenure of Internship: 2 months (Maximum)
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 5,000/- (consolidated) per month (A certificate will be awarded after the successful completion of the internship)
