Event Introduction
Following the directives of the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, the Teaching Learning Centre, Tezpur University (TLC, TU) has been conducting a series of Faculty Induction Program since 2017. TLC, TU is pleased to announce the next monthlong Online Faculty Induction Program (FIP) during 01 February-02 March, 2022.
Faculty Induction program is recognized by UGC vide UGC Regulation 2018 and it is equivalent to UGC Orientation Program. As per UGC Regulations 2018, all newly recruited assistant professors must undergo Induction Training within probation period. However, other interested faculty members can also apply.
The Induction programme for teachers shall prepare and skill the new recruits in inculcating the highest standards of teaching and learning including the latest developments. The uniform structure of the programme will also ensure similar preparedness for teachers across the country.
About Programme
The Faculty Induction Program will include both live sessions and pre-recorded video sessions disseminated in online mode. The entire program will be managed through Google Classroom and Google Meet, and YouTube live streaming. The program will be partly self-paced. The recording of the live sessions will be shared with participants at the end of every day. Those who fail to join to live session must watch the recorded video in a timely manner. However, joining live sessions is desirable. NOC is not required as program will be in online mode with a scope for self-paced learning. There will be two recorded sessions in the morning and participants can watch those in self-paced manner. There will be one live session in the afternoon.
Who can Apply?
University/College/Institute teachers who have not undergone such Induction Training/Orientation Program are eligible for participation in the programme

How to Apply
◆ Candidate should submit an online application by clicking the Apply Online. Participants need to fill up the online application form by using the link given below with all the required details.
All those who meet the eligibility criterion are required to pay enrollment fee of INR 3,500/- (Non-Refundable). The eligible participants who have made the payment are required to register online on or before 28 January, 2022.
Participants need to fill up the following online application form after the payment with all necessary details.
Those who apply through NMTT (nmtt.gov.in) portal must complete the process of registration by paying the required enrollment fee and submitting the prescribed form.
- Proper submission of quizzes/assignments are mandatory.
- Graded e-certificates will be awarded to the participants
following UGC norms. - Receipt of online application closes on 28 January 2022.
