Description

The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position at IIT Ropar is part of a project funded by the ANRF, focusing on electrocatalysis and battery technology. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Tharamani C.N. in the Department of Chemistry. This role is a temporary position with a duration of up to three years or until the project is completed, whichever comes first. The performance of the candidate will be reviewed periodically to ensure the project’s success.

Project Details

Project Title: “Dynamic research ecosystem for advanced materials (DREAMS)”

Duration:  3.0 years or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier (the position is purely temporary, and performance will be reviewed periodically)

Eligibility

First Class (6.5 grades point out of 10) or 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST) in Master or equivalent degree in Chemistry/ Materials Science, with qualified NET or GATE for JRF. Candidates without NET/GATE qualifications may be considered for project assistant position.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• The remuneration will be as per ANRF rules.
