The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati, an esteemed autonomous institution under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, is inviting applications for the position of Post-Doctoral Research Fellow. Description

The Post-Doctoral Research Program at IISER Tirupati is designed to foster young researchers’ careers by providing them with the resources and mentorship needed to conduct high-quality research. The program is open to candidates with up to five years of experience post-Ph.D. Those who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting their degree can also apply. The fellowship is initially awarded for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance. Fellows will engage with specific research groups and are expected to assist in undergraduate teaching.

Eligibility

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in a relevant field or have submitted their thesis. Evidence of high-quality research during or after the Ph.D. program is required. Interested candidates should contact faculty members in the specified research areas to identify a suitable research project and mentor.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Rs. 58,000 per month plus 10% HRA for candidates with a Ph.D. certificate.
• Rs. 42,000 per month plus 10% HRA for candidates awaiting their Ph.D. degree, with a letter confirming thesis submission.
