The Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Madras is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Project Research Scientist II (Non-medical). This position is part of a project focused on developing a bioactive scaffold for pulp regeneration in diabetic conditions. The project addresses the challenges posed by diabetes mellitus on dental pulp health, aiming to improve outcomes through innovative scaffold designs that enhance proliferation and biomineralization of inflamed human dental pulp stem cells (hDPSCs).

Eligibility
First-class PG degree (including integrated PG) with 3 years of experience, or PhD. Second-class PG degree (including integrated PG), with PhD and 3 years of experience. For Engineering / IT / CS – First Class Graduate degree of four years with three years’ experience.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 67,000/- + HRA (30%) = Rs. 87,100/- per month (including HRA)
