Description

Utkal University is seeking to engage research staff on a purely temporary and contractual basis for its Centres of Excellence (CoEs) under the RUSA 2.0 initiative and the R&D Cell. The positions are available across multiple disciplines, offering a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic research environment. The engagements will be conducted at the R&D Cell and various RUSA CoEs at Utkal University, Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar.

Eligibility

• Research Assistant (Centre for Environment Studies, Climate Change & Public Health):  M.Sc in Botany/ Zoology/ Biotechnology/ any other Life Science subjects, with a minimum of 55% marks. MA/M.Sc in Economics / Geography/ Geology / Public Health / Environmental Science.
• Research Associate (Centre for Public Policy & Governance): Postgraduate in a Social Science discipline. 
• Research Assistant (Centre for North-East India Studies): preferably Political Science / Public Administration/ Economics / Sociology/ Development Studies) with a minimum of 55% marks.
• Field Investigator (Centre for North-East India Studies): Must be a graduate in Social Science with minimum 55%.
• Research Assistant (Global Centre of Rural Studies): Postgraduate in a Social Science & Humanities disciplines
• Field Investigator (Global Centre of Rural Studies): Must be a graduate in Social Science & Humanities.
• Research Assistant (Centre for Study of Unorganized Labour): Must be a graduate in Social Science & Humanities.
• Field Investigator (Centre for Study of Unorganized Labour): Must be a graduate in any Management / Social Science discipline. 
• Research Assistant (Centre for Study of Language, Literature & Culture): Postgraduate in English/ Odia/ Sanskrit or any Social Science of Humanities discipline with a minimum of 55% marks
• Field Investigator (Centre for Study of Language, Literature & Culture):  Must be a graduate in Social Science & Humanities with minimum 55%
• Research Associate (High Energy and Condensed Matter Physics): M.Sc. in Physics with a minimum of 55% mark, with NET/ Ph.D., and at least two years of research experience
• Research Assistant (High Energy and Condensed Matter Physics): M.Sc in Physics with a minimum of 55% mark.  
• Research-cum-Academic Coordinator (R&D Cell): Master’s degree in any discipline with minimum 55% marks.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Research Associate (RA) – RS. 47,000/- per month
• Research Assistant (RAT) – RS. 37,000/- per month
• Field Investigator (FI) – RS. 20,000/- per month
• Research-cum-Academic Coordinator (RAC) – RS. 37,000/- per month
