The Tata Memorial Centre, a premier cancer research institute, is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Scientific Assistant. This position is offered on a contractual basis through A-1 Facility and Property Managers Pvt. Ltd. The selected candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge cancer research and patient care.

Position

  • Scientific Assistant

Eligibility

M. Tech / Biotechnology, M. Sc. Biotechnology /M.Sc. (Life sciences (Botany/ Zoology/ Biochemistry / Applied Biology / Microbiology) Preferably with 01-year experience. 

The below skills are desirable: Basic hands-on knowledge of molecular biology or life science laboratory techniques.

 Familiarity with general lab practices and biological sample handling.

 Ability to follow protocols and maintain accurate documentation.

 Strong scientific writing skills (for documentation, reporting and article writing).

 Good communication skills for effective team coordination and interaction with global collaborators.

 Basic MS office.

DNA extraction from biological sample (manual/automated).

 PCR- based techniques, genotyping and sequencing library preparation.

 Blood separation and fractionation methods (manual/ automated).

 Mass spectroscopy machine handling and sample preparation.

 Chromatography machine handling and sample preparation

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs. 28,450/- to 35,000/- p.m.
