Shiv Nadar University, Chennai, is inviting applications for up to four Project Staff positions under the MeitY-funded NLTM Bhashini project. This opportunity is available within the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, specifically in the Cognition Lab and the Speech, Music and Brain Lab. Description

The NLTM Bhashini project at Shiv Nadar University, Chennai, is a prestigious initiative funded by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). The project aims to develop advanced speech technologies in Indian languages, integrating cognitive science and sports psychology. Successful candidates will work on building the Cog Sport battery, implementing cognitive tasks, integrating task triggers with EEG and eye-tracking systems, and processing and analysing data. This role is crucial for advancing research in cognitive psychology and sports science.

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, specifically in Computer Science (CSE), Electronics and Communication (ECE), or Biomedical Engineering (BME). A genuine interest in sports science and cognitive psychology is essential. Additionally, candidates with degrees in Sports Psychology, Cognitive Science, or Sports Science with programming experience are encouraged to apply. Experience with EEG-Analytics and Brain-Computer Interaction Systems is preferred.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• ₹40,000 per month
