The Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad is seeking a Post Doctoral Fellow to join a sponsored research project focused on developing a Quanvolutional Neural Network Library for enhanced image analysis on quantum computers. The project aims to design, develop, and evaluate a hybrid quantum-classical image analysis framework, offering a significant contribution to the field of quantum computing and image processing.

Project Details

Title of the Project: “Qu-GEN: A Versatile Quanvolutional Neural Network Library for Enhanced Image Analysis on Quantum Computers” 

Principal Investigator: Prof. Partha Pratim Roy, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad 

Tenure of Project: 36 Months

Eligibility

Essential Qualification: JRF: M.E./M.Tech or equivalent in CSE/IT/AI/ECE/EE/allied branches with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (on a 10 point scale) + GATE/NET examination qualification. OR B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in CSE/IT/AI/ECE/EE/allied branches with a minimum of 75% marks or 7.5 CPI (on a 10 point scale) + GATE/NET examination qualification. 

SRF : Qualification prescribed for JRF with two years of research experience.

PDF: PhD in CSE/IT/AI/ECE/EE/allied branches with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (on a 10 point scale) + GATE/NET or equivalent examination qualification + 1 SCI Journal. 

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Fellowship (as applicable under the sanctioned project and funding-agency norms) JRF: Rs. 37,000 per month + 20% HRA SRF: Rs. 42,000 per month + 20% HRA PDF: Rs. 77,000 per month + 20% HRA
