The Junior Research Fellow position at NIMHANS is part of a project focused on developing in-vitro Parkinson’s disease models using human-induced pluripotent stem cells (hIPSC) from Indian ethnicity patients. The project aims to assess the safety and efficacy of homeopathy drugs. This role involves extensive research and hands-on experience in various biophysical techniques, offering a comprehensive learning environment for aspiring researchers.

Project Title: “Developing 2D and 3D in-vitro Parkinson’s disease models using HIPSC from Indian ethnicity patients assessing safety and efficacy of Homoeopathy drugs”.

Duration: 1.5 years

Principle Investigator:  Dr. Indrani Datta

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a minimum of M.Sc. or MTech in any field of science, life sciences, biotechnology, physiology, biophysics, or biochemistry with a good academic record. Experience in bioinformatics analysis of multi-omics data is preferable. The position is open to candidates under the age of 35.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs. 37,000/- plus 30% HRA per month
