Description

The Research Associate position is part of a two-year project funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR). The project aims to develop a computational framework leveraging AI and ML technologies to enhance trade and economic strategies. The selected candidate will work under the guidance of esteemed professors, including Prof. Rajesh Barik, Prof. Rudra Prasad Pradhan, Prof. Hemant Rathore, and Prof. Jestin Johny, at the BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus.

Project Details

Project Title: ” India’s Regional Trade Agreements (RTAs) Welfare Gain Analysis: A Computational Framework using Terms of Trade & AI/ML-based Automation”.

Duration:  2 Years

Principal Investigator: Prof. Rajesh Barik 

Eligibility

Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Economics or International Relations with a minimum of 55% marks. The role requires a strong alignment with the project’s objectives and responsibilities, which should be clearly demonstrated in the application.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• INR 37,000 per month
