Description
The Research Assistant position at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a significant project exploring sustainable urbanism. The project aims to understand how vibrant neighbourhoods and inclusive public spaces can contribute to sustainable urban development, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 11. The selected candidate will engage in full-time research activities, including geospatial mapping and field research in Kolkata.

Eligibility
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Geography, Urban Studies, Sociology, or related disciplines, with a preference for specialisations in Urban Geography, Urban Planning, or Urban Sociology. Expertise in geospatial mapping and urban mapping techniques is desirable. Candidates should possess strong academic writing skills and the ability to conduct ethnographic and empirical field research.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- INR 37,000 per month (Consolidated)
