Description
The Research Assistant position is part of a project titled “Design and development of advanced anti-collision system for heavy vehicles in Mining sectors.” The project involves designing, testing, data collection, and analysis, with a focus on enhancing safety in mining operations. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of Prof. K. K. Singh and Prof. Somnath Chattopadhyaya, contributing to a project with a tenure of 24 months starting from 24th February 2026.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a B.Tech/BE in Mechanical, Automobile, Industrial & Production, or Manufacturing. Additionally, an MTech or two years of experience in the Design/Manufacturing industry is required. Proficiency in ANSYS/LS-Dyna software is essential, and experience in FRP industries is desirable. The age limit is 28 years, with relaxations for SC/ST and OBC candidates as per government norms.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 30,000/- per month for the 1st year
- Rs. 35,000/- per month for the 2nd year (Consolidated)
