Description
The National Institute of Technology Puducherry, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, is seeking applications from Indian Nationals for a project position. The project, funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) and the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), aims to develop a solar parabolic dish concentrator system with variable focal length for electrical power generation and potable water production using thermoelectric generators (TEG) and seawater.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical, Energy, Chemical, or Aeronautical Engineering and an M.E./MTech. in Thermal Engineering, Solar Energy, Renewable Energy, Energy Engineering, or any allied stream. A first-class degree in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./MTech. is mandatory. Additionally, candidates should have knowledge in the development of experimental setups related to solar energy, heat transfer, thermal engineering, and proficiency in CFD – ANSYS Fluent, COMSOL Multiphysics.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 37,000 + 08% HRA for the first two years as JRF
- Rs. 42,000 + 08% HRA for the third year as SRF
