The Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad (MNNIT) is inviting applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on a contractual basis. This opportunity is part of a cutting-edge research project focused on the design and development of high-gain, wideband beam-steerable reflect array antennas for 5G mm-Wave and 6G sub-THz applications. Sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), this project aims to enhance spectrum utilization efficiency using FPGA technology.

Description

The research project at MNNIT Allahabad is a significant initiative aimed at advancing antenna technology for next-generation wireless communication systems. The project focuses on developing a reflect array antenna with beam-steering capabilities, crucial for efficient spectrum utilization in the 5G and 6G frequency ranges. This position is temporary and will be governed by the guidelines of ANRF and the regulations of MNNIT Allahabad.

Eligibility

Candidates must possess an M.E./MTech. in Electronics Engineering or related fields and be GATE qualified. Alternatively, a B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering with a GATE qualification is also acceptable. Experience in RF and Microwave Engineering is desirable. Experience in the area of RF and Microwave Engineering and related field is preferable.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Rs. 37,000 + HRA @ 20% per month for the first year
• Rs. 42,000 + HRA @ 20% per month for the second year
