The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati is seeking applications from Indian nationals for the role of Project Associate-I. This position is part of a project titled “Complex Pyrroloindoline DKPs as Strong ABC Transporter Inhibitors: From Biomimetic Synthesis to Anticancer Leads,” funded by ANRF-ARG. The selected candidate will work under the guidance of Prof. Rajesh Viswanathan, contributing to cutting-edge research in synthetic and medicinal chemistry.

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a four-year bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, Technology, or Medicine Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / BVSc /В. Pharm or bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology or medicine or from a recognized University or equivalent. from a recognized university. Additionally, candidates with one year of project experience in synthetic/medicinal chemistry or natural products, including metabolomics and pathways, are preferred.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • INR 37,000/- + 10% HRA for candidates selected through National Eligibility Tests such as CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, or equivalent.
  • INR 30,000/- + 10% HRA for other candidates.
