Description

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal, established by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India, is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Project Research Scientist I (non-medical). This position is part of a project titled “Development and validation of point of care smart phone-based cyanide detection kit for inhalation burns.” The project aims to innovate in the field of bio-analyte detection, providing a unique opportunity for researchers to work on a significant health-related challenge.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold a PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Bioengineering, with experience in mammalian cell culture and routine molecular biology techniques. Preference will be given to those with experience in kit development for bio-analytes or pathogens, and knowledge of polymers and biomaterials is desirable. An excellent academic track record, including a First-class M.Sc. and success in national level exams, will be advantageous.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs. 56,000/- per month + 20% HRA
