Description

The Senior Research Officer (SRO) will play a crucial role in supporting and coordinating research, academic programmes, and institutional activities at the Labour Market Research Facility (LMRF). This position is initially for a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance and institutional needs. The role demands a candidate with strong research skills, experience in managing projects, and the ability to assist in teaching programmes. Exposure to health systems or healthcare-related work is advantageous.

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a postgraduate degree (minimum 55%) in Social Sciences, Analytics, Sustainability, or Health-related fields. An M.Phil. or equivalent research degree with thesis work is essential. Preferred candidates will have exposure to health systems, healthcare institutions, or workforce-related research, and interdisciplinary training combining healthcare and social science or labour research. Experience in data analysis using SPSS/R/Excel, conducting field surveys, and coordinating research activities is required.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Rs. 65,000/- per month
