IIT Dharwad is seeking dedicated and experienced Sports Coaches to join their team. The institute is looking for individuals who can bring their expertise to enhance the sports culture and performance of its students. The positions are available in various sports disciplines, including Athletics, Badminton, Football, Weightlifting, Table Tennis, Chess, and Swimming. Position

• Sports Coaches for Athletics, Badminton, Football, Weightlifting, Table Tennis, Chess, and Swimming

Eligibility

Senior Coach: NIS Diploma/bachelor’s degree in physical education (B.P.Ed)/ master’s degree (M.P.Ed)/MS in Sports from a recognized university. ▪ Minimum 4–6 years of coaching experience at University/State/National level. ▪ Participation at State/University level [mandatory], National level [preferred]. ▪ Proven track record of producing medal winners in Inter-IIT/NIT/University/ National/Khelo India competitions. ▪ Experience in planning advanced training programs, performance analysis, and athlete development. ▪ Ability to handle institutional teams for major tournaments [e.g., Inter-IIT, AIU, National level].

Junior Coach: ▪ 12th Pass/ NIS Diploma/bachelor’s degree in physical education (B.P.Ed) / master’s degree(M.P.Ed)/MS in Sports from a recognized university. ▪ Minimum 0–2 years of coaching / playing experience. ▪ Participation at National / University/International level. ▪ Advance coaching techniques and fitness training. ▪ Ability to handle institutional teams for major tournaments [e.g., Local, State Tournament, Inter-IIT, National level]   

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Senior Coach: Full-Time: ₹45,000 to ₹50,000 per month; Part-Time: ₹513 per hour
• Coach: Full-Time: ₹40,000 to ₹45,000 per month; Part-Time: ₹449 per hour
• Junior Coach: Full-Time: ₹35,000 to ₹40,000 per month; Part-Time: ₹385 per hour
