The National Institute of Technology Warangal is seeking a dedicated Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to contribute to the ANRF research project titled “AKASH-6G: AI-Native 6G Non-Terrestrial Networks: Deep Learning Frameworks for Resilient Direct-to-Device Connectivity.” This project is sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) under the Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant (PMECRG) program. The selected candidate will engage in cutting-edge research and development activities over a period of three years.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a B.Tech/B. E or equivalent degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and an M.Tech/M. E in the same field or equivalent. A minimum of 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA is required for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL categories, and 55% or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD categories. Candidates should have a strong foundation in satellite communication, digital communication, probability theory, optimization, and wireless communications, along with experience in programming languages and simulation tools like MATLAB or Python.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Candidate who are selected through National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET or GATE)
- • 37,000+HRA (1st and 2nd Year)
- • 42,000+HRA (3rd Year, upon successful assessment and upgradation to SRF) Candidate without National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET or GATE)
- • 30,000+HRA (1st and 2nd Year)
- • 33,000+HRA (3rd Year, upon successful assessment and upgradation to SRF)
