The Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, is seeking a dedicated Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to join a research project funded by the ANRF. This project aims to explore the intricate linkages between snowpack and water resources, focusing on the Western Basins. The selected candidate will work under the guidance of Dr. Vikas Poonia in the Department of Civil Engineering. This is a temporary position, initially for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a B.Tech degree with a minimum CGPA of 7.5 and be GATE qualified. Alternatively, candidates with an M.Tech degree with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 and GATE/NET qualification are also eligible. A strong background in hydrology, climate change impact assessment, climate extremes, and proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, or MATLAB is desirable. Specialization in Water Resources Engineering will be an added advantage.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 37,000/- per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA)
