Description

The Central University of Rajasthan’s Department of Microbiology is seeking a Research Associate to join a DBT-sponsored project titled “Microalgae-Powered Biomanufacturing: A Carbon Capture Approach for Scalable Nutraceutical Aquafeed Production.” This role is a temporary position, initially available for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance. The project is located at the university’s Bandarsindri campus in Ajmer, Rajasthan.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Life Sciences. Those who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible. Experience in Industrial Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Bioprocess development is essential. Candidates should have hands-on experience with microalgae culturing and sophisticated instruments like HPLC. A strong background in fermentative biomass, biocatalysis, molecular biology, and biochemistry is preferred. Publications in high-impact international journals will be advantageous.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• INR 58,000/- per month (consolidated) plus HRA, as per DBT rules.
