Description
The University of Hyderabad is seeking a qualified individual to join their research team as a Project Associate I. This position is part of a project aimed at engineering Hydroxy nitrile Lyase for the synthesis of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). The role is temporary, with an initial tenure of one year, extendable based on performance until May 19, 2028. The selected candidate will work under the guidance of the Project Investigator, Santosh Kumar Padhi, and will have the opportunity to join the PhD program in Biochemistry at the University, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess an M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or an equivalent field with at least 60% aggregate marks. Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified UGC-NET (eligible for JRF/AP/PhD only), GATE, or any other national-level exam. Prior laboratory experience in molecular biology or enzymology is advantageous. The age limit for applicants is 28 years.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 25,000 per month plus 27% HRA (Rs. 6,750)
