University of Delhi Applications are invited for the following position of Senior Research Fellow and Field worker

Description

Applications are invited only through email for the following temporary positions in a DBT project titled “Sub Project 3: Draft genome sequencing of safflower and its wild relatives” at the Department of Botany, University of Delhi. The positions are purely temporary in nature and valid till the tenure of the project.

Position

• Senior Research Fellow – 2 Post
• Field worker – 1 Post

Eligibility

• Senior Research Fellow – M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences with minimum 55% marks, should have qualified UGC-CSIR NET(LS/JRF)/GATE/other National fellowship examinations (as per University of Delhi rules), minimum two years research experience in a research laboratory after M.Sc.
  Desirable: Experience in crop genetics including field work/ molecular biology/plant tissue culture/Bioinformatics/NGS data analysis.
  
• Field worker – Candidates meeting minimum educational qualification of Matriculation are eligible to apply.
  Desirable: Candidates having work experience in research laboratories and handling of plant research material would be preferred.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Senior Research Fellow – Rs. 35000+24% HRA per month
• Field worker – Rs. 18000+24% HRA per month.
