The Indian Institute of Technology Goa (IIT Goa) is inviting applications for the position of ANRF-Research Associate I. Description
The project aims to develop a comprehensive understanding of heavy quark dynamics across various stages of hot QCD matter, with a particular focus on the pre-equilibrium phase. The selected candidate will investigate heavy quark dynamics in the presence of electromagnetic fields, working closely with Dr. Santosh Kumar Das at IIT Goa and collaborating with Dr. Vinod Chandra at IIT Gandhinagar.

Eligibility
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Theoretical High Energy Physics, with specialization in areas related to hot QCD matter. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply. Expertise in heavy quark dynamics in hot QCD matter, including the pre-equilibrium phase, is desirable.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Basic Salary – ₹58,000 Per Month. If the thesis is submitted but the degree is awaited, the candidates will be paid ₹42,000 Per Month
- HRA – As per the funding agency norms
- Leave & Medical Benefits – As per the institute’s norms
