Description

The Institute of Nano Science and Technology is seeking applications from qualified individuals for a temporary, contractual position as a Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical). This role is part of a project funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Government of India. The research project aims to accelerate the development of a 3D-printed bioadaptive mouthpiece designed to alleviate oral mucositis in cancer patients undergoing treatment.

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a postgraduate degree, including an integrated PG degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or a relevant field. Desirable experience includes in-vitro and in-vivo cell and animal studies, drug delivery, basic molecular-biology techniques, peptide synthesis, biosensing, biomaterials, and 3D printing skills. A PhD degree in the relevant disciplines is preferred. The age limit is 35 years as of April 2026, with relaxations applicable for certain reserved categories as per Government of India rules.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs. 56,000 + 20% HRA
