The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) is a public, deemed, research university for higher education and research in science, engineering, design, and management. It is located in Bengaluru, in the Indian state of Karnataka. The institute was established in 1909 with active support from Jamsetji Tata and thus is also locally known as the “Tata Institute”.[5] It was granted the deemed to be university status in 1958 and the Institute of Eminence status in 2018. The Indian Institute of Science, a premier centrally funded technical Institution for higher education and research in the field of science & engineering, funded by the Government of India, has completed a century of major contributions to the nation, put in place new infrastructure (buildings & equipment), several new interdisciplinary programs, and a brilliant faculty and has embarked on the mission to become a world leader in advanced education and research. With this mission in mind, the Institute is looking to provide its faculty & staff with a modern, efficient and well managed campus services. To this end, the Institute is seeking applications from individuals for the post of Project Engineer-cum-Estate Officer to be filled on contract basis or on deputation on foreign service basis on standard terms and conditions of the Government of India.
The PE-cum-EO is in charge of the estate and looks after all the
infrastructure projects and its maintenance.

Eligibility
Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: At least 15 years of experience in relevant field as Engineer / (GP of Rs. 5400/-) or higher level from CPWD, State PWD or semi-Govt. / PSU / Statutory or Autonomous organization / University / Institutions of national importance/ reputed organization under Central / State Govt of which 5 years should be as senior executive Engineer with a GP of Rs. 7600/- or its equivalent grade.
DESIRABLE: Experience in development or operation or maintenance of a modern academic or corporate or similar infrastructure. Familiarity with modern practices in civil constructions and electrical power systems
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- PAY LEVEL: Level 13 (Rs. 1,23,100- Rs. 2,15,900)
