The Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a project titled “Utilization of Bayer Red Mud as a Supplementary Cementitious Material for Low-Carbon LC3 Cement Production.” This project, supervised by Dr. Arya Anuj Jee, Dr. Roop Kishor, and Dr. Abhishek Sharma, aims to develop a thermal activation protocol for Bayer red mud, design RM-LC3 cement blends, and assess their benefits through AI-driven life cycle analysis. The project also includes pilot-scale production of RM-LC3 building components for industry adoption.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a first-class MTech or master’s degree in Structural Engineering, Construction Technology and Management, Transportation Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or an equivalent field. Desirable qualifications include experimental experience related to construction materials, material characterization, and life cycle analysis, along with a quality research publication and strong academic credentials.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Fellowship: Rs. 37,000/- plus HRA as per institute/project norms
