The position of Project Associate at Tezpur University is part of a BIRAC-sponsored research project aimed at developing sustainable agricultural practices. The project is led by Prof. Rupam Kataki from the Department of Energy. The selected candidate will engage in cutting-edge research to enhance agricultural productivity in Assam’s rice fallow lands using indigenous microbes. This role is temporary, with an initial appointment until March 31, 2027, and may be extended based on performance and project requirements.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a master’s degree in science/Agricultural Science/Environmental Science. Preference will be given to candidates with research experience related to the project and a suitable research mindset.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Consolidated emolument of INR 25,000 per month plus HRA as admissible.
