Description
The research project titled “Designing High-Performing, Graph Neural Network Based Novel Computational Tools for Multi-layered Protein Interaction Networks (PINs) Alignment and Identification of Network Modules/Motifs for Prioritizing Common Anti-Viral Drug Targets for Multiple Hepatotropic Viral Diseases” is led by Professor Swarup Roy from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Tezpur University. This project aims to leverage advanced computational techniques to address critical challenges in biological network analysis and drug target prioritization.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a degree in M.E./M.Tech./M.S./M.Sc./MCA/B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent in fields such as Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biotechnology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Life Sciences, or related disciplines. A valid CSIR/UGC NET (Including Assistant Professorship)/GATE or equivalent qualification is required. For the SRF position, two years of research experience is mandatory.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Rs. 37,000/- plus HRA per month
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Rs. 42,000/- plus HRA per month
