The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) is a deemed university fully funded by the University Grants Commission, Government of India. Sukoon is a field action project of the School of Human Ecology at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Sukoon provides psycho-social services to litigants approaching courtsettings for matrimonial disputes and conducts primary research in the area of couple and family well-being. Sukoon counseling centers are currently operational in 6 courts in Mumbai.
Job Description
Institute invites interested candidates to apply for the post of ‘Field Work Supervisor (Part-time)/ (Full-time)‘ to be filled on contract basis for a period of 3 months (15th Jan 2024 to 15thApr 2024).Candidates who have applied to the following Advertisement No: SHE-MA-TISS/12.12.2023 need not apply again. Their applications will be considered as per rules.
- To provide supervision to the students who are going for fieldwork.
- To accompany students for field visits and coordinate the visits with field work agencies
- To review students reflective journals for comments and grading.
- Liaise with the agencies to facilitate student placement in field work settings for next semester.
- Any other responsibilities as suggested by Dean and faculty field work coordinators.

Eligibility
- MPhil in Clinical Psychology from RCI recognized University or PhD in Psychology with specialisation in Clinical/Counselling Psychology.
OR - M.A. in Applied/Clinical/Counselling Psychology with a minimum of 2 years of experience of psychotherapy and counselling work.
- Practitioners with prior experience in providing supervision and training will be preferred.

- Will be as per experience and TISS Norms.
